Report to General Counsel of Micro Connect Group and assist GC to look after group compliance matters
Help group manage risks and avoid lawsuits by ensuring business operations are performed in compliance with laws and local regulations
Develop company policies, create metrics to help track compliance and perform compliance audits
Keep abreast of law development and ensure that the company conducts business according to new regulations that arise
The right candidate is required to hold a bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or Finance, and may also be required to have a certificate in compliance, internal control, audit or ethics
The right candidate should have possessed at least 10 years of experience in the compliance industry working with licensed entities, financial institutions, HK SFC, HKEx or HKMA, or equivalent regulatory authorities of other recognized jurisdictions.
The right candidate is expected to be a fast learner, and masters a great attention to detail, analytical thinking skills, and ability to interpret complex policies and regulatory papers in plain language. The candidate must also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills and be native or fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Job Highlights
At least 5 years’ relevant experience in the compliance industry working with licensed financial institutions, HK SFC, HKEx or HKMA, or equivalent regulatory authorities of other recognized jurisdictions.
Proficiency in English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)
