Conduct analysis of individual stocks, bonds and / or other investment products in HK/China, Asia and globally; Assist in evaluation of investment opportunities and potential risks
Help build financial models and financial projections
Conduct macro trends of global markets; identify drivers in different industries
Conduct statistical analysis of historical data; Assist in-ad hoc tasks
Trade Execution and Reporting
Assist with execution and documentation of trades, ensure accurate and timely logging of all trade activities and transactions
Develop and maintain investment reports and portfolio trackers
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline portfolio tracking and reporting flows
Provide support in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for internal / external stakeholders
Property Markets Research
Collect, compile, clean and analyze market data from various sources on property markets globally; Compile detailed databases for regular tracking
Conduct research on different property markets; analyze trends and drivers, regulatory frameworks etc
Other ad-hoc projects: Assist in ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned
Skills & experiences required
University graduate, preferably majoring in accounting, finance, statistics, or business-related subjects
At least 2-3 years (not more than 6 years) of relevant experience in investment analysis and / or operations
Detail-oriented, analytically rigorous and dedicated; ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment with a strong sense of initiative; Strong interest in investing
Excellent presentation and communication skills in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
Proficient in Excel (eg task automation using macros and VBA, creating dynamic reports, managing large datasets with functions, building charts and graphs); Programming experience (eg Python) and / or familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal will be a plus
Resourceful in identifying and utilizing various data and research sources
Experience in financial institutions and family office will be a plus
Professional (or progression towards) qualifications such as CFA and CPA will be a plus
