Your role

* Lead and support the implementation of new business and strategic initiatives/projects, including new product rollout, market changes, new system implementation, process improvements, and perform root cause analyses on issues/control gaps
* Lead, supervise and ensure the smoothness of the team daily work; and escalate /consult with senior management on complex issues
* Be the first point of contact for internal and external business partners, clients, account managers and relationship managers on all operational issues including allocation, pre-match, and post execution events within a highly regulated environment
* Ensure the completeness and accuracies of all transactions captured in upstream and downstream systems, and managing the escalations from junior team members or other stakeholders
* Ensure the team can quickly and effectively resolve issues through proper investigation and escalation
* Identify and recommend methods to improve processes, reduce risks, improve controls, and increase stakeholders satisfaction
* Liaise with client onboarding and reference data team to setup accounts internally and act as gatekeeper to ensure the accuracy and completeness of critical client/market data
* Liaise with different IT support teams to identify and fix exceptions, and also proactively identify ways to address issues at source
Your team
You will be working in the APAC Cash Equity Trade Support. The team supports the Investment Banking securities business covering global markets and institutional clients. The team also has client services representatives who support a range of transactional support, client relationship management, and risk controls, and works closely with front to back offices regionally and globally for managing internal and external client queries, trades allocation, confirmation exceptions and account opening. Your team is trusted to resolve ad hoc complexed queries from internal and external client. Our key objective is to deliver excellent client services with continuous improvement on process efficiency and risk control. Products coverage are Derivatives, Cash equity, convertible bonds, depositary receipts and etc.
Your expertise
Minimum 4 - 6 years of relevant working experience in Middle office / Trade support role including 2 years in a managerial role
