Accountant (up to 34k)

The Company

Our client is a sizable retail company and is urgently looking for an Accountant to join the company. This is a 12-month contract looking for a candidate to start immediately.

The Role- Responsible for full-set of accounts (AP, AR, GL)

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts by analyzing historical data and market trends to support effective financial planning.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.

• Perform ad hoc tasks

  Your Profile- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related disciplines

• Proven track record of professional accounting experience
• Qualified Accountants will hold an advantage but not a requirement
• Proficient in MS Excel (vlookup, pivot table)
• Good time management and detail minded
• Good command of both spoken and written English

• Immediate available/ short notice period is highly preferred
