Front Office Application Support - Bulge Bracket

My client is a top tier international investment bank and have a mature existence in Hong Kong and APAC. Their business is growing and they are expanding their application support team to better support their sales and traders while also driving the new projects.

Requirements

1-5 years' experience working in application supporting space, preferred in financial services
Familiar with Linux/Unix operating environment and experienced in troubleshooting, SQL & Python Scripting
Proven experience on Python is preferred
Proven experience or at least have basic knowledge on financial instruments and trading field
Familiar with UAT is a big plus

Exposure
You'll be sitting on the trade floor, majorly responsible for quite a few large-scale trading applications and supporting the users in a daily basis, monitoring and solving technical issues for them and ensure a stable operation environment for the applications
You'll be having the opportunity to work on new projects and driving the initiatives
You'll be picking up the business knowledge and start to spot out the tasks that can be automated in Python to achieve an efficient business environment
Great opportunity for someone in their early career stage who is keen to build their career in Front Office Technology space as you'll getting wide exposures on learning different types of business products and associated trading application as well as sitting closed with the business to understand the workflow.
