IT Infrastructure Manager

A prominent conglomerate based in Hong Kong is looking to hire an IT infrastructure manager to join their team. Strong server or networking knowledge is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing, operating, and maintaining IT infrastructure.
• Oversee configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical and virtual servers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Review and document IT documentation, perform User Acceptance Tests, and provide detailed reports on project progress, problems, and solutions.
• Handle procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and equipment sourcing.
• Manage tender processes for IT infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to procurement guidelines and evaluating vendor proposals.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for infrastructure enhancement.

  About you:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a team lead in IT Infrastructure projects.
• Preferred experience with CISCO, Aruba, Ruckus, FortiNet, Palo Alto, VMware, Microsoft AD and AAD.
• Familiarity with public and private cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience in vendor management for infrastructure setup, project governance, implementation, and change management.
• Proficiency in procurement processes, including vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, and equipment sourcing.
• Knowledge of tender processes and ability to evaluate proposals from vendors.
• Solid experience in structural cabling, server room design and construction, network and server architecture, IP CCTV, and IP Phone systems.
• Strong experience in managing large-scale network and server farms, including DR drills, performance/capacity monitoring, backup/restore, and troubleshooting.
