Key Responsibilities

• Participate in financial data and reports and ensure accurate analysis and interpretations of financial data are delivered
• Prepare accurate financial management information to support Audit Committee Meeting, Board Meeting and Staff Communication Forum etc.
• Review the Bank’s performance regularly using key data and suggest ways for improvement if needed
• Analyse and work closely with BU/SUs to understand their financial data generated and interpret financial situations
• Formulate and implement management accounting tools such as cost allocation and profit sharing
• Conduct actual and budget variance analysis on financial results and key financial indicators
• Assist in ad hoc analysis to support the Senior Management for Board presentation and business decision
• Coach and provide guidance to subordinates as required to ensure that they are competent to perform the jobs

Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines
• Professional qualification of CPA, CIA, CFA, FRM will be an advantage
• 5-8 years’ experience in relevance duties
• Sound knowledge of banking accounting policies and procedures
• Familiar with SQL, Access and strong in computer skills
• Self-initiative, able to work independently with good time management
• Good team player with excellent project management, interpersonal and communication skills
• Good report writing skills in Chinese and English
• Good command of both spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
