Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Chief Electrical Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:

• To lead the technical staff in preparation of conceptual and detailed designs, budget and technical specifications for power development and building services projects
• To perform tender evaluations and make recommendations
• To perform check on documents/drawings submitted by contractors and monitor project progress
• To perform safety, environmental and quality control inspections, testing and commissioning and monitor the related site progress
• To liaise with internal parties, contractors and external parties including government authorities and public stakeholders on project matters and environmental, health and safety issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Building Services / Electrical Engineering or related disciplines with a minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience and with Corporate Membership of the HKIE
• Familiar with relevant local and international regulations, procedures, standards and codes of practice
• Knowledge in project engineering, coordination and contract administration
• Experience in designs and implementations in the electrical installation for power plant
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written

Candidate with less relevant experience and/or lower qualifications may be considered for the positions of Project Engineer II, Engineer I or Engineer II.

Working Location: Admiralty / Lamma Island, transportation to be provided
