Our client is an international asset management house with an unparalleled reputation across the Asia Pacific region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre candidate to join their Institutional Sales team.
You will be responsible for increasing the fixed income and private credit visibility broadly and growing assets under management from all institutions with a focus on insurance segment. Working closely with generalist sales, the primary relationship owner, you will identify and cultivate new business prospects, initiate and follow up on new business opportunities, lead consultative business meetings and associated solution proposal/preparation, and to close business deals. You will closely maintain relationship with senior investment and C-suite contacts within the institutions. In addition, you will need be able to effectively communicate complex fixed income investment capabilities and create solution in a clear and simple fashion. Lastly, you will participate as a speaker in external forum/seminar to share market dynamic and present possible solution.
To be considered, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 10 years of fixed income sales experience preferably previous exposure to insurance organizations, ideally with extensive and current contacts with senior management at insurance companies. You should have a demonstrated track record in raising assets from sophisticated institutional and insurance clients. Fluency in English is a must and Chinese is a plus.
