Founded in 1936, the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association is one of the longest serving non-government organizations dedicated to the welfare of children and youth in Hong Kong. To support future development of our Association, we are now inviting competent candidate to join our team:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the team to formulate and execute data-informed brand building strategies, driving for measurable results in public awareness and perception of the agency’s services
Devise donation guidelines for new platforms and handle external donations from various avenues to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and existing policies
Conduct annual budget planning and monitor the day-to-day income & expenditure of the department and programmes
Formulate and implement strategies for fundraising programmes and central events, oversee end-to-end event management including promotion materials, internal & external coordination, preparation of speeches, press release, guest invitations, license applications…etc
Proactively build and nurture trusted partnerships with traditional and non-traditional media, public and private enterprises, sponsors and other key stakeholders to amplify brand presence
Maintain good media relationships and supervise the team for media enquiries, pitching stories, and organizing media events
Manage external affairs/ complaints, coordinate delegation visits and support top management in crisis management
Administer the production and publication of all communication materials (e.g. e-Newsletters, feature stories, advertorials, advocacy papers and annual reports …etc)
Promote corporate brand and services through different social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, Rednote …etc.
Establish and implement an internal communications strategy on agency’s VMV (Vision, Mission and Values) and development strategy, ensuring internal and external communication messages are aligned to build a unified image
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor degree or above in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or related disciplines
At least 8 years’ experience in marketing, corporate communication or related fields; plus 5 years in managerial role
Proficient in webpage management and good understanding in social media marketing, with a proven ability to develop and execute platform-specific strategies to engage diverse target audiences
Solid exposure in tailoring message and content format for different platforms to maximize reach, engagement, and conversion for brand building and fundraising goals
Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Including Putonghua)
Proficient in computer software, including Photoshop, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint; etc.
Familiar with social enterprises or NGO landscape, with an innate sense of how to communicate mission-driven work is an added advantage
