System Analyst - Core Banking System Project (Corporate Bank)

Overview

This is one of the well-known foreign banks in Hong Kong with strong present at corporate banking around the globe. They are looking for a System Analyst with experience in handling core system project to join their system application development team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• You will deliver technology solutions in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), that align with the Bank's strategic digital transformation goals and drive operational efficiency enhancements.
• You will serve as a liaison between users and the IT team, working closely with users to collect requirements and conduct analysis and design for core banking system enhancements
• Optimizing processes to drive operational efficiency enhancements
• You will provide supervision and coaching to developers, while also conducting quality assurance on development deliverables.
• Responsible for project planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Working closely with vendors, overseeing contracts and agreements, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the vendor engagement process.
• Provide 7 x 24 system support and problem solving when necessary
• Monitor project risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and facilitate effective decision-making to drive project success.

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 5 years' hands-on experience in system development and looking for candidate who has handled core banking system previously
• Solid programming experience in a range of languages, including C/C++, C#, Java, and familiarity with Linux
• Familiar with IT system development life cycle (SDLC), change control governance and testing strategy.
• Self-motivated, mature, detail-minded, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good command of both English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Candidates with more experience will be given priority consideration for the position of Senior Systems Analyst.
