Our client, a reputable firm with global presence, are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation QA Engineer with expertise in TypeScript to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Your primary focus will be on creating robust and efficient test automation frameworks using TypeScript, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks using TypeScript.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test cases that effectively cover all functional aspects of the application.
- Execute automatedtest suites and analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the QA team to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for both new features and regression testing.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation based on their complexity, business impact, and frequency of execution.
- Continuously enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks to improve test coverage, execution speed, and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and delivery pipeline.
- Monitor and maintain test environments, ensuring they are up-to-date and properly configured for accurate test execution.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues encountered during test execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and propose solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices related to automation testing and TypeScript.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automation testing, specifically using TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficient in TypeScript and experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Protractor, or WebDriverIO.
- Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or Newman.
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
