Main Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of 4-5 HR Relationship Managers to provide value-added HR generalist services and advisory to designated LOB on manpower planning, recruitment and selection, employee relations, staff retention and performance management.

    • Formulate and implement manpower and HR strategies to support the business strategies of LOB.
    • Act as the business partner of LOB to offer advice and solutions on HR related matters.
    • Direct the team to execute and communicate to LOB effectively various bank-wide HR programs and policies in support of the Bank strategies and business needs.
    • Offer advice to LOB on reviewing and implementing organizational designs to maximize organizational effectiveness in support of business strategies.
    • Ensure the team is effective in identifying good quality candidates with required competencies and ethical standards in performing their daily duties.
    • Ensure the team's deliverables are in compliance with legal and regulatory and ethical standards, of the required quality, in adherence to the Bank's corporate values, risk management policies and service standards.
    • Monitor staff expenses and budgets of LOB against the pre-determined plan.
    • Perform any duties as assigned by Deputy Head of HR.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines

    • Minimum 10 years of HR experience from sizable organizations preferably in banking industry
    • Experience in consumer banking a definite advantage
    • Strong interpersonal and people management skills
    • Good communication skills with proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
    • Proactive, self-motivated with good commercial acumen
