Assist in managing general disputes, litigation, arbitration and other contentious matters (including pre-litigation matters) involving the Group and its entities, and support day-to-day case management and report to management.
Coordinate with and supervise external counsels and advise all business units and middle/back offices on case updates and various risks and strategies.
Advise on and manage any investigations or inquires of regulatory bodies and assist in conducting any relevant internal investigations of the Group.
Draft, negotiate and/or review various agreements in relation to the Group’s businesses.
Perform any other job duties and projects assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
HK qualified solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE experience at leading law firms or in an in-house environment is preferred.
Legal experience in disputes resolution or regulatory matters for financial institutions, familiar with regulatory and compliance issues in the relevant industry.
Knowledge on overseas regulations (e.g. U.S. and PRC) a definite advantage.
Professional presentation and report writing skill.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua.
Self-motivated with strong analytical and negotiation skills.
