VP, Investment Banking

Responsibilities:

Transaction Execution:

• Lead and manage the execution of investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and restructuring activities.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
• Prepare and review transaction-related documents, including information memorandums, pitch books, financial statements, and presentations.
• Coordinate and negotiate with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful deal execution.

Client Relationship Management:

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic financial advice and guidance.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and drive business development initiatives.

Team Leadership and Mentoring:

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
• Oversee project teams, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Collaborate with senior management to set team goals and contribute to overall business strategy.

Market Research and Industry Analysis:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory developments relevant to investment banking.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on target sectors and companies to identify potential opportunities.
• Prepare market intelligence reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in investment banking or related fields, with a focus on executing complex financial transactions.
• Proven track record of successfully executing investment banking transactions, including M&A, capital raising, and restructuring.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial markets, industry dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex financial concepts.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Strong client relationship management skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
