Senior Legal Counsel - (Personal Banking / Fintech)

Responsibilities: - Provide legal support to our bank's retail banking business which comprises of fintech, digital banking, credit card, personal loan and mortgages and other business initiatives under the guidance of Lead Counsel, including CBDC products, tokenized products, e-Signatures, remote account opening / loan applications

Provide regulatory advice including personal data privacy, competition law issues etc.
Draft/review/negotiate contracts and agreements; assist in complaints handling; approve and review new products/services; assist with the drafting or reviewing of internal policies and procedures; manage external legal counsel
Represent the Bank in industry committees/forums
Provide legal training to stakeholders

Requirements: - Bachelor or above in Laws or related disciplines
Qualified solicitor in Hong Kong with 5-7 years of PQE gained from a reputable law firm or legal and compliance department of banking / financial institutions
Sound Knowledge in retail banking and experience in Fintech will be an advantage
A good team player and ability to work independently with excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
