Settlement Associate

Responsibilities

Perform daily operations of settlement activities for global equities , Fixed Income , FX and MM;
Process daily tasks including trade matching and ensure all instructions are executed timely and efficiently;
Liaise directly with front office, brokers, and custodians to resolve trade and settlement issues;
Conduct margin calls with counterparties;
Ensure daily relevant processing are completed properly within pre-defined deadline;
Escalate any issue to Team Manager's attention in timely manner;
Participate in UAT for any new system enhancement and implementation;
Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirement

Degree or above;
Responsible, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure;
0 - 3 years relevant Settlement experience in Asset Management / Investment Bank (Fresh Graduates are also considered);
Familiar with SWIFT system;
Excel Macro / VBA Knowledge is preferred;
Excellent command of spoken English, Mandarin & Cantonese;
Willing to work on public holidays and morning shifts.
