Responsibilities
- Assist preparation of the annual audit plan to ascertain adequate coverage of IT risk
- Lead and conduct risk-based audits for the Group related to IT areas
- Prepare risk-focused audit project plan and develop audit programs for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system for IT audit areas
- Perform independent assessment on adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls including compliance with regulatory requirements and identify any control weaknesses for improvement
- Prepare audit reports and provide valued-added recommendations to strengthen the control environment
- Monitor timely completion of rectification actions and validate adequacy and effectiveness of the actions
- Update Internal Audit policy and manuals related to IT audit areas
- Support audit automation and Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAAT) development
- Review and comment on policies, procedures and operations manuals
- Perform ad-hoc assignments and investigations as required
Requirements
- Degree holder in information systems, computer science or related disciplines
- Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM or CISSP
- 5+ years of experience in IT internal/external audit or IT risk management. Internal audit experience in financial services industry is an asset
- Experience of regulatory compliance assessment related to cybersecurity and E-banking for financial services industry
- Able to drive execution independently with strong analytical, presentation, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong English and Chinese report writing skills
- Experience of CAAT development
- Travel to Macau is required
