Head of Digital
Our client is a leading e insurer in Hong Kong. They are recruiting for a Head of Digital who is the key front-office owner of the business for our client, the first digital life insurer in Hong Kong, reporting to the CEO and acting as a member of the EXCO.
It has the primary mandate to drive all digital product and sales strategies to fulfill their mission as a digital pioneer with a full fintech outlook and substance. He/she has to ensure that the function operates within the regulatory and risk framework. He/she must also implement the appropriate talent, structure, culture, and oversight capabilities to achieve the function's full KPI.
The responsibilities of this role are:
- Decide on the right digital channel and product mix and allocate marketing/acquisition dollars to support the overall business emphasis.
- Strengthen the existing digital marketing capabilities (social media, content, data, promotion, campaign, SEO, CRM, etc) and develop the right algorithm to maximize our customer reach.
- Develop digital affinity partnerships and an ecosystem that can help expand our overall distribution capabilities.
- Accountable for the overall digital P&L and build the right metrics to track the progress.
- Lead the digital function to evolve as a real sales engine that drives innovation and solutions to support the business agenda that can meet the shareholders' and customers' expectations.
- Collaborate with other business functions to ensure strong connections to work as a bigger team in the same direction.
- Build team capability with the right talents and the right mindset to support a strong delivery pipeline that is effective and efficient.
- Develop a best-of-class vendor model to support the business with agility and cost advantage.
- Ensure the deliverables are well managed with clear business cases, market understanding, and a fit-for-purpose risk framework.
- Manage human and financial resources with solid governance and long-term vision.
