Job Summary:
Our team maintains first-in-class systems for critical services like trading, market data and clearing in cash and derivative markets. We play a critical role on infrastructure support, including IBM Mainframe and DBA. We also partner with application and cyber security teams to operate our systems in such fast-growing financial markets in Hong Kong.

Job Duties:

You will have the opportunity to manage and support mission critical and high performance platform on System z. You will be working closely with a group of talented technologist on a regular basis from support to implementation work.

Responsibilities: - Implement and support infrastructure solutions in critical IBM System z environments that demand stability, high throughput and controlled CPU resources.

• Perform mainframe administration, support services, management of z/OS, DB2, CICS and related 3rd party utilities and peripherals.
• Be responsible for system configuration, installation, customization, security setup, system management functions, performance reporting, performance tuning, stress test, capacity planning, patching and upgrade, backup and recovery.
• Provide support and implementation work to application teams including database administration and performance analysis.
• Provide advice for operating policies, technical architecture and configuration of database system.
• Implement compliance standards and perform regular system compliance review.
• Proactively assess exposure areas and take steps to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Anticipate, evaluate, and resolve complex system problems to minimize downtime and system performance degradation.
• Perform infrastructure support per standard ITIL/ITSM Incident management, Problem Management, Change Management and Release Management processes.
• Manage vendor to ensure the highest quality delivery and implementation.

Requirement: - Degree in Computer Science, Information System or IT related disciplines.

• Minimum 8 years of working experience with z/OS, DB2, CICS.
• Experience in supporting mission critical, high availability, high performance platform on System z.
• Experience in VTL infrastructure, CA1, CA7, Endevor is of advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, good presentation skill.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
