Assistant Vice President, Cash Trading Development

Job Summary:
We are looking for a high-calibre professional to join our Trading Operations Team who will help us on managing the daily operations of our trading platforms in the Hong Kong cash market covering equity securities, funds, structured products and debt securities. You will also assist in delivering HKEX's strategically important initiatives related to the cash market and Stock Connect programme, hence there are ample opportunities to work with both internal and external stakeholders in the process. Job Duties:

Responsibilities: - Oversee the team's daily operation to ensure market and platforms stability

• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of project initiatives which affect cash trading, on areas including but not limited to impact assessment, system changes requirements and testing of these relevant changes
• Assist in the innovation and transformation of the team's workflows by managing the development and implementation of automation solutions using various tools and technologies
• Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements: - University Degree holder preferably in Finance/ Statistics/ Information Technology or related disciplines

• 6+ years' relevant experience in finance/ equity trading business
• Preferably to be technically savvy and have strong experience in automated testing tool and environment
• Good understanding of Hong Kong and Mainland stock market practices
• High agility with growth mindset; a self-starter, team player and good communicator with sound judgment and good problem solving skills

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
