Position Summary
Responsible for assisting the supervisor in planning, organising and coordinating sports, recreation and activities related to culture and staff engagement. This may include volunteer activities.
Responsibilities
assist the supervisor to prepare financial budgets of the Staff Sports & Recreation Club (“SSRC”) and related engagement activities for approval
prepare related expenses reports as required
handle staff members’ enquiries related to sports, recreation and related activities under SSRC
liaise with external stakeholders, notably vendors and contractors, for provision of services related to SSRC
plan, organize, coordinate and implement SSRC programmes and activities to promote wellbeing and staff engagement
manage routine operations of the in-house gymnasium and BEA corporate sports teams
prepare proposals, evaluation reports, pre- and post-event intranet posts, and related documents of the activities
keep good records of SSRC statistics/ inventory
administer the staff privileges scheme
assist in organising and coordinating staff recognition/awards presentations in a timely manner
support assignments and tasks related to culture & staff engagement as and when required
Requirements
University degree in any discipline or equivalent professional qualification
A minimum of 5 years’ of working experience, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in event management from renowned organizations
Proactive, strong customer-oriented mindset, able to work under pressure
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Good command of written English and Chinese
Good proficiency in MS Excel
Sports enthusiast of any kind is an advantage
