Principal System Analyst - Assistant Vice President - Derivative Systems - IT

Job Summary:
We seek dynamic and passionate individual to fill the position of Principal Systems Analyst. The candidate should be experienced IT professionals with experience gained in developing mission critical application systems on Linux platform.

The incumbent will be responsible for IT project implementation, application development and maintenance activities on Derivative Systems.

Job Duties:

As Principal Systems Analyst, the incumbent will be responsible for IT project implementation, application development and maintenance activities on Derivative Systems.

The incumbent should be experienced IT professionals with experience gained in developing mission critical application systems on Linux platform.

Responsibilities:- Primarily focus on the enhancement projects of Derivatives Risk Management Systems

• Manage system development life cycle and leading for project implementation including the requirement definition, resource estimation, system design and development, functional and technical testing, production migration and documentation.
• Lead an internal and offshore development team for systems development and testing
• Perform quality review for software design and code change
• Collaborate with teams across IT and business departments
• Provide support on core mission-critical market system by providing timely first line fire-fight suppor t

• Ensure system development and operation in accordance with the IT development standards and guidelines, and corporate policies and standards.

  Requirements:- Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines

• 10+ years' system development experience in large scale systems on Linux platform
• Strong development experience in Linux platform, Java, C++, Perl Scripting, REST API Programming, Spring Framework and Database technology
• Experience in DB2/Oracle is preferred
• Good problem solving, self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently
• Proficiency in SDLC methodology and documentation
• Night shift / holiday duties might be required

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
