Senior Systems Analyst - Associate - Post-trade Systems - IT

Job Summary:
The Post Trade Development & Support Team is responsible for the design, implementation and application support of HKEX's market systems, including trading, market data, clearing and settlement, listing systems as well as our internal corporate and surveillance systems. The Development & Support team comprises a number of specialised application teams that have in-depth technology knowhow of HKEX systems to support the on-going maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancements of HKEX systems and the development of next generation HKEX platforms.

Job Duties:

As Senior Systems Analyst , you will be part of the team for support and development on Post trade - Platform services application systems. You will also involve in application architecture design and system integration projects.

Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate systems development activities through collecting business requirements from user divisions, estimate resources requirements, devise project schedule, co-ordinate with other application teams on activities with common systems impacts, supervise systems studies and analysis, and review deliverables (such as functional specifications, design and test plans)

• Propose and participate in application architecture design and system integration solutions to meet upcoming business process and capacity
• Follow standards and guidelines on application development; conduct quality assurance review for complex software design and code changes
• Collaborate with cross departments and exercise vendor management during project development

• Undertake any other assignments and projects as assigned by superior

  Requirement:- Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines

• 5+ years' relevant experience, of which at least 4 years at management level
• Solid experience in managing and developing large scale mission critical systems on open platform. Development experience in cross platform integration is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in Java/C++, Linux, Java EE Application Server, popular Java development frameworks, and RDBMS is a must
• Conversant with SDLC
• Strong interpersonal, communication, managerial and people management skills

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
