Associate, Trading Development, Trading (Project Management)

Job Summary:
The Trading Development team at HKEX is committed to advancing market infrastructure, systems, and policies. Previous launched market infrastructure projects include derivatives holiday trading, realignment of trading hours for selected derivatives contracts, implementation and enhancement of after-hours trading session, revision of stock options position limit, etc.

Job Duties:

Key Responsibilities:- Project Management: Support project managers on driving and executing the initiatives through their project lifecycles.

• Market Research: Conduct research and studies on local and international market operations and regulatory policies.
• Communication: Prepare materials for written and/or verbal presentation of findings to business stakeholders.

• Ad-hoc Reporting: Responsible for regular and ad-hoc management reporting on business performance and provide analysis in relation to derivatives products.

  Requirements:- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Journalism or a related field.

• Professional Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with sound knowledge in finance, sales and trading, research, journalism or demonstrated writing experiences.
  • Experience in the Hong Kong securities and/ or derivatives market is an advantage.
• Skills:
  • High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • High degree of accuracy, attentiveness to details and thoroughness.
  • Experience in management reporting, data analytics, and/or data manipulation.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Detail orientated.
