Job Summary:
Associate - Market Data (Data Licensing & Policy)
HKEX Market Data Department (MDD) is responsible for the market data services of HKEX's securities and derivatives markets. Data Licensing & Policy (DLP) team of MDD looks after all data clients' licensing matters and promotes the HKEX market data products globally. The incumbent is to report to the team lead of DLP team.

Job Duties:

Job Responsibilities: - Relationship manager for existing and prospective licensees of HKEX data products.

• Point of contact for both external & internal inquiries regarding data product features, application procedures and licensing & fee schemes.
• Validation of applications and administration of agreements for data clients
• Work alongside with Data Sales and Client Services teams to solve client enquiries and provide proper licensing solution for client use cases.
• Assist in soliciting feedback from internal and external stakeholders on market data policies.
• Constantly review and optimize procedures to assist clients' onboarding.
• Assist in organizing client seminars and events.
• Assist management in ad-hoc projects as well as cross-team initiatives such as project management on licensing operation automation.

Job Requirements: - University degree, preferably in Finance/ Business/ Economics or related subjects.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in the financial industry.
• Strong understanding of financial industry and products as well as data business. Knowledge of exchanges' market data business is a plus.
• Exposure to Market Data vendors is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, highly self-motivated, able to multi-tasks and work independently as well as in a team environment.
• High proficiency of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua), strong demand in communication and presentation skills.
• Conversant with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Officer
