Monitor and assess credit and portfolio performance for corporate loan in Hong Kong and China, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Provide comprehensive support to the team in managing compliance, regulatory, and internal matters related to specialized financial products in Hong Kong.
Conduct thorough credit analysis, prepare credit memos, and perform financial/cashflow analysis for periodic and ad-hoc credit monitoring of loan portfolios, ensuring timely reporting of credit-related issues.
Foster strong relationships with front office/marketing teams to facilitate the successful closure of new transactions and ongoing portfolio management.
Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies, adhering to compliance rules, and preparing necessary materials for audits and examinations.
Job Requirements:
University graduate with a solid understanding of credit, finance, and accounting principles.
Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant banking experience, demonstrating expertise in corporate credit analysis. Exposure to large corporates is advantageous.
Familiarity with Chinese regulations and security principles, with a general understanding of the local business environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
Detail-oriented, with the ability to review loan documentation against internal frameworks and ensure compliance with internal and local requirements.
