HK based expanding hedge fund - Fund Operations (30-50K)

The Company

Our client is a HK based hedge fund that is looking for a proactive, driven and motivated professional to join its Fund Operations team.

The Role - Monitoring daily trade operations (trade booking and validation, failed-trade investigation, corporate actions, settlement, cash management, SBL, reconciliation etc)

• Verify NAV prepared by fund administrators and follow up if needed
• Monitor and analyze fund performance, including investment returns expenses, and fee calculations
• Liaise with prime brokers on trade related matters, SBL processing, margin call, and corporate actions

• Participate in tasks automation and enhancement by familiarizing the workflow, identifying operational issues, implementing controls, etc

  Your Profile - University degree holder or above

• 3-7 year experience in fund administration or fund operations
• Ideally from buyside but fund admin background will also be considered
• Detail oriented, driven, independent, good problem solving
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management

• Proficient in Excel skills, knowledge in Macro and VBA will be an advantage
