Trade Floor Application Support, Global Investment Bank

A leading investment bank is looking for a junior Trade Floor Application Support professional to join their dynamic team.

Be a part of a hardworking and innovative group which provides support for the electronic trading platforms, used by Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income traders.

Responsibilities

Support traders, troubleshoot, resolve bugs and resolve/track production issues
Handle business-driven or exchange-driven projects
Work on applications related to Equity Derivatives on APAC markets using a Linux platform
Perform system Quality Assurance testing and deploy/upgrade trading applications
Monitor and address system performance and operation issues
Follow ITIL Application Support methodology for incident escalation and system change management

Requirements- Relevant work experience between 2 to 4 years
Extensive knowledge of markets, cash and derivatives products
Proficiency in python in Linux/Unix environment
Driven and able to perform in a stressful environment
Strong team player and great analytical/decision making skills
University degree with a major in IT or mathematics
Excellent English communications skills, able to communicate clearly and effectively
Hong Kong work permit
