Business Analyst / Project Manager (Treasury)

Our client is an instantly recognizable leading bank in Hong Kong in the global finance industry with a diverse range of financial services and products.

The Role

The key goal of the project is to streamline the processing of cash and foreign exchange operations hence why a strong domain in treasury products, cash management, and FX activities would be essential for the project consultant to excel in the role.

Responsibilities: - Lead and support the implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at automating and streamlining cash and FX transaction processes.

• Identify opportunities to minimize manual intervention, enhance processing efficiency, and reduce operational risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve existing cash management processes, including payments, deposits, liquidity management, and FX instructions. Identify areas for process improvement, develop solutions, and implement best practices.
• Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of cash management systems, banking platforms, and treasury products. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to cash management.
• Generate regular reports on cash management activities, transaction volumes, trends, and performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing cash management operations.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to cash management activities.

  Your Profile

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in treasury management or cash management is a plus.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cash management, treasury operations, or a similar role within the financial industry.
• Proven expertise in cash Straight-Through Processing (STP) and experience in driving process automation and efficiency improvements.
• In-depth knowledge of cash management products, cash pooling, liquidity management, and FX activities.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in cash management systems, banking platforms, and related software applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to cash management activities.
