Job Overview

Act as the administrator of Chinachem donation committee to handle donation related matters includes approval processing and sponsored programs monitoring for the Group. The incumbent will also be assigned as a core member in supporting large scale sustainable development projects of the Group in the area of creative industry – Hong Kong Movie Art Center (HKMAC).

Job Responsibilities

Operations Support to Donation Committee

  • To assess and review donation applications from NGOs, including research and analysis of the social needs, background of NGOs and the feasibility of proposed projects with related budget to ensure the projects concerned align with corporate values and directions
  • To handle administrative and logistics work, such as preparing meeting schedule, recommendation papers, meeting minutes, agreements, payments, regular reports and keeping accurate donation records for the committee
  • To escalate to the committee for appropriate approval in case of material changes in approved projects

Projects Management Support to Movies and Performing Art

  • To build and maintain good business relationship with the industry stakeholders
  • To coordinate with internal parties for daily operations in HKMAC
  • To set up venue rental business model and booking system for HKMAC
  • To prepare sales and marketing materials, e.g. leaflet, website, IG, Facebook, etc. supporting promotional events
  • To work closely with Project Design team on architectural functional requirements to cater potential industry players’ needs
  • To assess sponsorship requests for empowering new talents and promoting art and film appreciation
  • To follow through sponsored projects with funded organizations to assess and execute donation entitlement

Stakeholder Management

  • To liaise with the NGO partners to enhance the submitted proposals or co-create new initiatives
  • To monitor all approved projects in different project stages to ensure projects are running as planned
  • To engage and outreach to relevant stakeholders (e.g. NGO partners, beneficiaries, government authorities, universities) to better understand the social needs and build potential long-term partnerships
  • To assist in planning and execution of CSR and ESG initiatives with intern and external parties

Requirements

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines
  • 8 years’ relevant experience, preferably with exposure to NGOs, Government, policy research or social service settings
  • Prior experience in movie and performing arts fields preferred
  • Knowledge in administration of charitable projects is an advantage
  • Strong coordination and presentation skills
  • Able to apply developed communication skill to exchange complex information and may occasionally influence others
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in PC applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word-processing
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Cantonese
