HKU SPACE is the extension arm of The University of Hong Kong and a leading provider of continuing and professional education which offers both award-bearing programmes and non-award bearing courses, full-time and part-time. More information about HKU SPACE is available at http://hkuspace.hku.hk.

Duties: The appointees will teach one or more of the key subjects for the evening or weekend preparatory workshops for Overseas Lawyers Qualification Examination (“OLQE”) in English or on a bi-lingual basis. The subjects will be taught in the context of Hong Kong law.

• Civil Procedure
• Criminal Procedure
• Commercial and Company Law
• Accounts and Professional Conduct
• Contract
• Tort
• Criminal Law
• Oral Advocacy

Requirements: Applicants must be qualified practicing Barristers or Solicitors in Hong Kong. They should hold a Bachelor of Laws / Juris Doctor or equivalent qualification along with the PCLL Certificate, or be qualified overseas legal practitioners who have passed the OLQE examination. Prior teaching experience in OLQE subjects is an advantage.
