Role Purpose:
As a Senior Finance Manager you will oversee the financial operations of Watson’s Wine, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. Providing strategic financial guidance and support to senior management to drive business performance and achieve financial goals.

A typical day in this Role:

• Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and operations, to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
• Manage the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of detailed financial forecasts and variance analysis.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining proper documentation and records.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between the finance teams of both business units to ensure consistency and alignment of financial practices.

Success will depend on:

• Professional accounting qualification with proven experience as a Senior Finance Manager or similar role, preferably within retail or FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a small team.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
