Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Planning:

    • Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
    • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Capital Markets & Fundraising:

    • Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
    • Oversee the company’s capital structure and fundraising activities, including equity and debt financing.
    • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other relevant accounting standards for financial reporting.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):

    • Lead M&A activities, including valuation, due diligence, and integration planning.
    • Advise on deal structuring, pricing, and negotiation to maximize shareholder value.
    • Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Operations:

    • Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including quarterly and annual filings.
    • Implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, including the SEC and HKEx.
    • Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and the Board of Directors.
    • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to support the company’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent).
    • Extensive experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and valuation.
    • Proven track record in managing U.S. capital markets and regulatory compliance.
    • Strong background in M&A, financial modeling, and strategic financial planning.
  • Skills:

    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel modeling.
