Job description
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and Board of Directors.

Capital Markets & Fundraising:
- Manage relationships with investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
- Oversee the company’s capital structure and fundraising activities, including equity and debt financing.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and other relevant accounting standards for financial reporting.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
- Lead M&A activities, including valuation, due diligence, and integration planning.
- Advise on deal structuring, pricing, and negotiation to maximize shareholder value.
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Financial Operations:
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including quarterly and annual filings.
- Implement robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary liaison with regulatory authorities, including the SEC and HKEx.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and the Board of Directors.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to support the company’s strategic objectives.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance, or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and valuation.
- Proven track record in managing U.S. capital markets and regulatory compliance.
- Strong background in M&A, financial modeling, and strategic financial planning.
