• Japanese multinational technology-driven company
• Brand owner, R&D, manufacturer and marketer : high technology systems & machinery for the building & construction, infrastructure and manufacturing sectors
• Core business : transportation systems; logistics & material handling systems; vehiclce-related products/machinery; industrial machinery; air-conditioning & refrigeration system; infrastructure machinery & equipment
• Hong Kong : support & coordination office for projects located in HK and China market
• We are looking for JAPANESE SPEAKING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – with details as follows :

THE JOB :

• Education: Bachelor’s degree holder, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering, Technology or related fields.
• Experience: 5-10 years work experience in Japanese companies; experience in project coordination or business development for large scale projects/business is a plus
• Language Skills: JLPT N1 certification in Japanese and fluency in Mandarin and English
• Technical Skills: Knowledge in tendering processes and project management tools is a plus
• Cross-Cultural Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between Japan Headquarters, Hong Kong and China offices, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
• Project Management: Coordinate large-scale projects/business, including tender bidding, execution, and delivery
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and external partners in both regions.
• Language Support: Facilitate bilingual communication in Japanese and Mandarin for meetings, reports, and documentation.
• Work location : work based in Hong Kong with occasional trips to China offices
