• Hong Kong office is responsible for sourcing and procurement in the Asia-Pacific Region for the purpose of supplying all kinds of electronic components, chemical materials, steel & metal materials, raw materials, equipment and system to Europe
• Focus will be : electronics, chemical and mechanical products
• We are looking for QUALITY ENGINEER - with details as follows :

THE JOB :

• Reporot to Quality Manager
• Work in Quality team of 2 members in Hong Kong office
• Support Quality Manager to overall manage supplier quality according to company procedures including but not limited to new supplier factory evaluation and qualification, regular supplier quality systems and process audits, ISP (Inspection Sheet Plan) for source inspections at supplier’s site, supplier performance reporting, review, improvements & reporting to ERP system.
• Work together with sourcing and engineering teams to conduct new supplier/vendor factory audits, rating and qualification.
• Work closely with engineering team for NPI (New Product Introduction) at suppliers according to APQP/PPAP principles for product and process validation and qualification.
• Review and verify product and process non-conformance as found and reported.
• Perform regular supplier/vendor on-site process/system audits and quality review meetings for corrective and improvement actions status and follow-up.
• Continuously train, coach and drive supplier/vendor quality systems and process improvements towards company’s requirements and expectation for product quality excellence.
• Be the quality communication/contact window for supplier/vendor and internal teams.
• Collect, review quality data and prepare monthly report of supplier/vendor performance scorecard and propose disposition for the supplier/vendor status.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or technical college graduate in quality or relevant engineering discipline.
• Able to communicate in native language level Chinese (mandarin and/or Cantonese) and English at an advanced level in written and oral communication,
• 3 years or above experience in supplier development and/or quality management of electronics, chemical and/or mechanical products in relevant industry.
• Good supplier-driving and negotiation skills
• Be familiar with electronic, metal, plastic part fabrication, chemical and PCBA/PCB processes,
• Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO14001, IEC, regulatory standards is an advantage
• Familiar with 8D, PPAP, APQP, SPC, FMEA, 7-QC tool, CMM and other advanced statistical quality methodologies and tools etc.
• Experience of using MS Office and ERP Applications.
