We are looking for an experienced Senior Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of the production facilities in Hong Kong for our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities related to food production, including equipment, utilities, and building systems, are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management program for food production factories
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities related to food production, including equipment, utilities, and building systems
  • Ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repair services
  • Manage the facilities budget, including forecasting and reporting on expenses
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and building codes related to food production
  • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption and waste

Requirements:

  • Degree or above in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Building Services Engineering or related disciplines
  • At least10 years of experience in facilities management, with a minimum of 3 years in managerial role
  • Strong technical knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices related to large scale equipment
  • Exposure in F&B or pharmaceutical industries is preferred
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and staff
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting expenses
