We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Finance and Planning Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Be the Finance Business Partner to SSV Asia, engaging and working closely with stakeholders across the Region in support of their strategic growth
  • Provide insightful and analytical support to Regional Head of Finance SSV, COO and Business Management teams, identifying opportunities and risks to drive business performance and challenge business actions to maximize profitability and returns
  • Analyse, interrogate, challenge and present key business indicators across products and markets providing a transparent understanding across all SSV product offerings
  • Lead monthly financial reviews to drive a deep understanding of P&L performance
  • Drive the wider Finance transformation agenda, actively contributing to efficiency improvement initiatives including digitization of processes with technology
  • Support the Finance Resource Planning (FRP) and Forecasting process for SSV Asia
  • Monitor, own, and actively manage resolution of risks, issues and dependencies

Requirements - Experience in a varied finance career across multiple finance disciplines, such as Financial Accounting and Control, Business Information and Analysis, Financial and Regulatory Reporting, or other similar disciplines

  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of what drives the numbers and can articulate complex issues in a concise manner both verbally and in writing
  • Proven ability to think laterally, make decisions without always having sufficient information and execute at pace
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong leadership and business acumen; also, not afraid to challenge the business, say ‘no’ where appropriate and offer alternative solutions
  • Strong management information background, both in terms of required content, production processes and understanding what drives the numbers being reported
  • Understanding of the Finance organization, it’s processes, systems and strategy
