Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the company's various operational functions from middle to back office including finance, operations, information technology, business development.
• Negotiate with external service providers / business partners, including law firms, banks, brokerage firms, fund houses etc.
• Manage and be responsible for operation manuals and policies, daily operations and regulatory matters, supervise investment-related operational activities, including compliance supervision, financial performance and profit and loss reporting etc.
• Coordinate with company accountants to review financial reports, audit, and conduct financial planning and budgeting.
• Collaborate with investment teams on new product development, agreements, contract negotiations and provide operation support in the whole process of investment products rollout.
• Other operation duties assigned by the chairman.

Requirements

• Degree holder in business management or relevant field.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the financial/investment industry.
• Solid and comprehensive COO skills and knowledge, covering SFC Type 1 and 9 regulated activities is preferred, hands-on experience of middle & back office, securities and structured products etc.
• Preference will be given to those who are Responsible Officers, licensed by the Hong Kong SFC for carrying out Type 1, 4 & 9 regulated activities.
• Familiar with the latest SFC regulatory knowledge related to investment management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Operations Manager
