Job description

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the main point of contact for the Asia global outsourcing control remediation program to guide and support on the completion of the required actions within the region
  • Conducts data collection and analysis to support the decision making for the GOC remediation program
  • Develops and manages a detailed project plan, including definition of milestones and deliveries to bring Asia GOC remediation project from initiation to deliver
  • Performs Quality Analysis review and testing of remediation activities performed by the Businesses and Support Functions to ensure consistent and appropriate application of the requirements
  • Identifies and escalates risks and issues for resolution, escalating to the Regional Head as appropriate, and works with the Businesses and Support Functions to address where required
  • Supports the development and delivery of communications materials, training and guidance relating to the requirements and timeline of the Asia GOC remediation project
  • Develops a good understanding of the Firm's operations, outsourcing environment, industry knowledge and regulatory changes in Asia
  • Conducts detailed problem tracking, resolutions and completion of all actions and issues by their deadlines to ensure the successful completion of the GOC remediation project
  • Prepares and presents updates on project progress, risks, issues and dependencies to relevant governance committees

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in global organizations, preferably in Banking or Financial Services organizations
  • Experience with third party/ vendor risk management or operational risk
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong project management skills, including ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams with varied backgrounds and skills
  • Proven ability to influence, train, motivate others and demonstrated ability to enforce accountability to drive results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and proven ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and peers
  • Ability to work in a global team environment, building and maintaining a network of contacts and coordinating with a large number of stakeholders
  • Experience in developing reports and summarizing metrics into meaningful information for senior management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin
