Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of experienced staff in performing full spectrum of daily office administration and procurement functions
  • Lead the entire tendering process including preparation of tender documents and consolidation of tender received to ensure compliance with company policies and standards
  • Collaborate with user departments to understand procurement needs and provide procurement support to ensure compliance, efficiency and risk mitigation
  • Liaise with local and overseas suppliers for quotation of products and or services and monitor vendor performance
  • Conduct market research and supplier assessment to identify cost-saving opportunity while maintaining service quality and delivering value to the company
  • Liaise with contractors and vendors to ensure service quality, including but not limited to staff canteen, office renovation, shuttle bus, telecommunication, cleaning and sanitisation services
  • Review procurement policies and drive innovation and continuous improvement within the procurement function
  • Support the development of green procurement policy and implementation of corporate sustainability initiatives
  • Assist in the review of related company policies and procedures
  • Perform ad hoc projects / tasks as and when required

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Management or relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience with not less than 5 years’ managerial or supervisory experience
  • Hands-on experience in materials sourcing & ordering, vendor evaluation & selection practice
  • Experience in sustainability-related work is a plus
  • Mature personality with strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of both English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua will be an advantage
  • Competency in Microsoft Office
