Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Team Head of Accounting Policy, the applicant is responsible for working independently and supervising managers to evaluate the impact of new development in accounting standards, set accounting policies and internal accounting regulations, design accounting treatments and perform due diligence assessments on banking products and services, prepare analytical reports and participate in ad hoc projects to support management's decision and departmental operation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or related discipline; or qualified member of HKICPA or other professional accountancy bodies
• At least 4 years' practical experience in a Big Four or recognized reputable accounting firm/banking industry
• Solid knowledge in IFRS reporting and experience in commercial accounting
• Independent, self-motivated with strong presentation skills, and able to work under pressure with tight schedule. Experience in delivering training is an advantage
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office with knowledge of Chinese word processing
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
• Willing to travel to ASEAN countries
