AsiaWorld-Expo is a world-class exhibition, convention and events venue offering over 70,000 square metres of rental space. With 10 state-of-the-art, ground-level and column-free halls including the AsiaWorld-Arena - the biggest purpose-built indoor seated entertainment arena in Hong Kong with a maximum capacity of 14,000; the AsiaWorld-Summit - Hong Kong's largest indoor conference and banquet venue that seats 700 to 5,000 persons; and the Runway 11 - the venue's latest conference and function hall for 500 to 3,800 guests, AsiaWorld-Expo is Asia's only column-free, ground-level exhibition, convention and events venue which is fully integrated with the World's Best Airport, Hong Kong International Airport (World Airport Survey by Skytrax).

The complex is located at the centre of an extensive and efficient air, land, and marine transport network which connects Hong Kong to China's Pearl River Delta and the world's business capitals. It is ideally suited to hosting world-class exhibitions, conventions, concerts, sports, and entertainment events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, initiate, lead, plan, organize and implement the events assigned. Ensure timely planning, preparation, and implementation of events within given schedule and resources as well as to ensure high quality and flawless execution of events
  • Closely coordinate and facilitate effective communications with various internal operation and technical support departments to obtain strong support for the events and develop execution plan to ensure events are implemented smoothly and safely
  • Being on-site in-charge to monitor and oversee the whole implementation of the event and ensure the event is delivered at a high-quality manner in accordance with the event plans. To collaberate with respective internal departments to identify any potential problem, provide solutions, make changes and adjustments based on site condition and any ad hoc requests raised by the organiser
  • Oversee all event related safety and regulation are in compliant and report update to senior management on simultaneous manner
  • Maintain good relationship with organizers and provide professional advice to enquires from analyzing all requirements and develop effective plan to execution until achieve quality deliverables
  • Prepare pre and post event report and maintain event document with proper record for future reference
  • Perform any ad-hoc assignment as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel & Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sizeable companies with 3 years hands on experience
  • A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills; good logical thinking, strong problem-solving and negotiations skills
  • Well-organized, detail-minded, muti-tasking, flexible, work independent and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
  • Good command of written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin is a plus
