Job Scope:

To be responsible for the supervision and day-to-day operations of Procurement Team. To manage and plan for all aspects of the Food/Non-Food Procurement operations of Hong Kong Operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cover F&B, OS&E, FF&E, Facilities Management, Repair & Maintenance purchases
  • To achieve a streamlined Procurement operation, shortened PR/PO processing path, simplified administrative work, proper tendering procedure, unified filing system
  • To actively source for the most appropriate products for various departments and business units within the Group, and to negotiate for the best price and supply terms, whilst maintaining continuity of supply and internal and external relations
  • To utilize the quantity leverage, tender for the high volume, high price and common purchase items and have the price locked for an agreed period of time
  • To evaluate current suppliers’ performance, and recommend new suppliers to improve competition and product mix
  • Handle internal and external audit over ISO certification & Food Safety Management System.
  • To ensure compliance with the Group’s Procurement Policies & Procedures and suggest improvements to Procurement Operations
  • Work with F&B, Marketing & potential suppliers to see if any joint promotion opportunities are available.
  • Work with Operation, Store and Logistics to review current practices to apply appropriate changes at ever-changing airport environment.
  • Provide assistance to headquarter on global sourcing whenever it is needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience, with Minimum 3 years at managerial level, preferably in F&B / Hotel/ Aviation hospitality industry
  • Self-motivated, independent, proactive and able to deliver quality results under tight schedules
  • Previous experience with CheckSCM is preferred
  • Experience working a multinational environment
  • Good problem solving, communication, leadership & negotiation skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good problem solving, communication & negotiation skills
  • Willing to travel abroad if required
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Procurement Manager
