Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Director/ Senior Business Development Manager to join a leading global offshore corporate services provider.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and contributing to the growth and success of the organization

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and maximizing client satisfaction and retention
  • Identify and cultivate new business leads, actively reaching out to potential clients in the Hong Kong and Southern China region
  • Attend industry conferences and events to represent the organization and expand the client network.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including lawyers and business development professionals, to meet clients' requirements and develop effective strategies
  • Conduct business analysis to identify areas for improvement and devise strategies to enhance services and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, competitors, and regulatory requirements
  • Negotiate engagement terms and competitive fees with clients, ensuring alignment with market standards
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan joint visits and events
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and activities using CRM systems

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in business development within the fiduciary/offshore services industry, preferably in the Cayman Islands or BVI
  • Familiarity with selling BVI and Cayman structures, including entities for the private wealth sector and funds for private families and fund managers/administrators
  • Strong knowledge of BVI and Cayman corporate transactions and succession instruments.
  • Understanding of compliance and risk management procedures and regulations in BVI and Cayman Islands
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong initiative and organization skills
  • Previous experience in a client-facing and relationship management role
