Job Description

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and IFRS16 lease accounting preparation.
• Experience of managing Oversee consolidation accounting and report to HQ
• Ensuring consolidated financial statements are completed accurately and on time.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Preparation of cash flow forecast and develop cash management strategies.
• Coordinate with other departments to obtain necessary information and ensure smooth accounting processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare the profit tax and deferred tax provision calculation schedules.
• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during the annual audit and tax filing processes
• Assist in ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related discipline with HKICPA or equivalent qualifications.
• Proven experience with 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably in retail industries.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of internal controls and risk management.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of the Xero accounting system is an advantage
• Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
