Responsibilities

• Develop innovative approach for smart asset maintenance to enable compliance and resources optimization of maintenance activities in accordance with the asset maintenance plan
• Support the development and implementation of different IT systems and perform the role of Departmental Representative for various IT system related to AM, work procession management, concession management, maintenance planning and budgeting
• Apply appropriate query tools including data manipulation and statistical analysis in system to organise information that helps to achieve work management objectives
• Conduct work performance analysis to derive strategic actions for assuring preventive and corrective maintenance compliance, and for resources optimization
• Deliver the check & balance as the first line defense in particular on monitoring and scheduling of AM implementation, Preventive Maintenance compliance, concession management and quality assurance
• Oversee the governance and implementation of Asset Management (AM) activities in the department in accordance with the asset management strategy and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate for annual sectional manpower and material budgeting exercise to align with cost budgeting to help drive productivity initiatives in the department for coping with the dynamic business needs

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• A minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at supervisory level
• Self-motivated with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently
• Good knowledge of general engineering practices

Remarks

• Candidates with lower qualification but extensive experience will also be considered
