Job description

Hip Hing Construction Company Limited, a main contractor in Hong Kong undertaking various types of building and civil engineering projects, is looking for a high-calibre candidate to fill in the following position for its Hong Kong projects: -

Responsibilities

• Provide construction Digitalization solutions, including design automation, system integration to Hip Hing Centralized Management Platform (HHCMP), prepare dashboard based on project needed, etc.
• Provide technical solutions for implementation of BIM, GIS software and various management platform including HHCMP, CDE, eDMS, DWSS etc. on construction projects.
• Translate user requirement into business logic and design a system / workflow to fit in the project needs.
• Illustrating design ideas using process flows, user flows, prototyping, mock-ups, etc.
• Take charge of Implementation of HHCMP solution on construction project, from planning, coordination, workflow, usability in the project. Manage and delicate tasks to the team to ensure HHCMP functioning and facilitating the whole project.
• Ensuring data integrity, including data structure and standard and database structure are setup according to project requirement
• Assist the integration of IoT system architecture for project setups
• Monitoring the system on-site performance and identifying potential issue and resolving issues
• Review and evaluate existing products. Execute code refactoring, enhance on-going system and refine workflows to keep capabilities of the team.
• Handle troubleshoot emergency of construction digital solution released by the team.
• Work closely with BIM team to improve corporate BIM workflow and standard such as BEP, SAM, BIM workflow, Parametric library etc.
• Participate in strategic planning for team development and devote to helping team growth.
• Stay tuned with trend in construction and technology industries and bring in insightful tools to project application.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/ Electronic Engineering/ Information Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline with minimum 6 years working experience in related discipline.
• Candidates with experience in construction or engineering related industry would be an advantage.
• Familiar with construction related platform, including but not limited to CDE, DWSS, eDMS, SSSS, iCWP etc.
• Familiar with BIM and GIS technology
• Familiar with software development/testing on mobile client/server, programming language on Python/C#/Java/JavaScript/Vue.JS, BI visualization tool Power BI/ETL data management
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to identify issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of both written/spoken English and Chinese.
