International Culinary Institute

Health and Life Sciences Discipline

Ref. no : C/KC-HLS/L(Nursing)/03/23-AP1

Major Duties:
(a) To perform teaching duties, including supervision of students’ projects and fieldwork placement;
(b) To carry out duties in relation to student and academic administration;
(c) To develop course curriculum and teaching materials;
(d) To assist in validation and accreditation of programmes;
(e)
To participate in networking with industry and sourcing industrial attachments, departmental projects and functions including but not limited to consultancy services, research studies, seminars and exhibitions;
(f) To serve as a module leader and review module content to align with industrial practice and maintain the standard and quality of the programmes; and
(g) To assist in the development of health-related programmes.

Requirements:
(a) A recognised master degree in Nursing or health care discipline;
(b) Qualification of a valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong;
(c) At least 3 years’ full-time relevant teaching / industry experience ;
(d) Good communication, teaching and facilitation skills in both English and Chinese;and
(e) Preferably with strong clinical experience and experience in tertiary education and programme administration.

Notes:
(1) The initial posting is in IVE (Kwai Chung). The appointee(s) may be posted to other work location(s) to suit the operational needs.
(2) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic/professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic/professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply.

(3) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment.
(4) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties outside normal office hours and/or outside campus.
