DEPARTMENT OF REHABILITATION SCIENCES

Nurse (Temporary Appointment) (two posts) (Ref. 240416003)
[Appointment period: each for twelve months initially, with possibility of further appointment]

Duties

The appointees will assist in the research project titled “Health support project for persons with disabilities”. They will be required to:

(a) provide professional advice and assist in the implementation of the disease management module of the Health Support Programme (HSP) and Train the Trainers (TTT) programme in the nine Sheltered Workshops/Integrated Vocational Rehabilitation Service Centres (SWs/IVRSCs);

(b) provide professional advice on the research design and data collection as well as assist in the implementation of the impact evaluation; and

(c) perform any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates.

Qualifications

Applicants should:

(a) have an honours degree in Nursing or other related disciplines;

(b) have a Certificate of Registration (Part I or II) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by The Nursing Council of Hong Kong;

(c) have at least five years of relevant working experience;

(d) have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Cantonese;

(e) have good interpersonal and communication skills; and

(f) be able to work independently.
